Autism (AUT) Information for Parents & Teachers
In order to meet eligibility criteria for autism, a report documenting all existing information related to any autistic-like behaviors exhibited by a student must be written by a school psychologist. Two or more of these behaviors must adversely affect the student's educational performance, such that special education services are required (California Department of Education: Section 3030(g), Title 5, CCR).
